Bolso marinero/ Marine style bag

Hola navegantes
Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde la última vez que escribí. Es difícil de creer. Pero aquí estoy con mi maravilloso bolso.
Creo que es un "tote bag", o puede que tal vez un "hobo bag", no lo se.
Lo que sí creo es que es un bolso de verano ya que sus colores principales son el azul y el blanco, la tela del forro es completamente roja.
Hace varios años, en el 2010 hice una entrada sobre un bolso pequeño, y de ese bolso saqué la idea del que voy a mostrar a continuación.
En las fotos se puede ver:
-En la primera foto se ve que la parte superior del bolso tiene muchos dobleces o pliegues.
-En la segunda foto se muestra la terminación superior del bolso con un asa, cojida con las puntadas de color oscuro.
- En la siguiente foto se ve la imagen del filo superior unida ya al bolso y otro de los filos preparado para unirlo.
- La otra foto tiene las puntadas que le doy a mano, para que en el momento de coserlo a máquina no se mueva.
- Al final aparezco yo luciendo el maravilloso bolso de verano.

Creo que es un buen comienzo para la temporada de verano, no creeis?
Ahora solo me queda aprovechar las rebajas y comprar un vestido que le pegue al bolso. ¡Qué buena excusa para ir de compras!

Hi sailors.
It's been more than a month since I last wrote anything. I can't believe it.
But here I am with a new gorgeous bag.
I believe that it's a tote bag, but I don't know, maybe it could be a hobo bag.
What I really know is that it's a summer bag because its outer fabric is blue and white, and the lining fabric is completely red.
A few years ago I sewed a little bag with the same features, but it was smaller, as you can see here in June 2010.

 It is pretty folded.

Here you can see the top rim fabric. The lining fabric and the handle bind together with intersecting stitches.

 In this photo I am sewing together the top rims with the bag.

I use this white thread to avoid scrolling the top fabrics while I 'm sewing with the sewing machine.

And this is me with my new bag. It has been difficult but  it´s already finished.
I think this is a good start for this summer time.
Now I'm going to take advantage of sales and to look for clothes that suits me better with my new bag.
It's a good excuse to go shopping, isn't it?
